St Mary's Community Funday - Shoulder of Mutton Green, Welling - Saturday 19th June 2010
The Branch attended the Funday for the 2nd time. Like last year, we had a Tombola as our main fundraiser. We would like to thank everyone who supported us on the day, and congratulations go to all those who won items on the Tombola. Eddie Gavan once again brought along his ever growing collection of Memorabilia, which proved a huge hit with young and old alike, and we thank Eddie for taking the time to show us his excellent collection and allowing several children to try on various items of clothing. Pictures can be found via the link below. You can even see pictures of Eddie dressed up in Uniform.
The Branch would also like to thank all it's members who attended and helped out, with special thanks being given to our Secretary Marilyn Grest for organising the Tombola prizes, and the endless task of folding those tickets!! And a big thank you to our Standard Bearer Peter Holden for supplying and erecting our stall, which was needed when the rain showers hit.

Danson Festival - Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th July - Held at Danson Park in Welling
The Branch was delighted to attend this year's Festival, with the primary aim of making members of the public aware of who we are and what we do in the local area, in the hope that people will come and join our Branch. We held a raffle at the Festival, with some fantastic prizes donated by local businesses. Eddie Gavan once again brought along this display of Military Memorabilia on the Saturday. We are pleased to annouce that we raised nearly £800 over the two days, and would like to thank everyone who supported us, and to all those who helped with our stall over the weekend.
